I'm Vans neice. I wish that I had more time to get to know him before he was gone. His work has always made such a great impact on me and I love going through his portfolio and photos of him. I'm very happy to see his memory carried on! Thank you.

As a conch, I knew him from is day's of being transplanted in KW, partied with him and was there until the end.
I have two water colors and one of his Easter Eggs which he did in 1977...a gift to my late mother.
Thanks for keeping the memory alive and well!

I remember witnessing Van Eno's creative genius
one particular afternoon in his apartment studio on White Street in Key West. He was intensely focused on
his creation. I was fortunate to have known this very
beautiful and talented man. In my possession is one of Van's brilliant abstract splatter pieces which I will always cherish.

Thanks Honey for contributing Van's birthday and your experience. Stephen as for the chairs I believe I know them. They are circa 1950's wooden with rounded backs (2 slats). The Doctor lived on Varella St in a compound and shared a pool with two other units. As far as I know Van did not paint a lot of furniture which probably adds to their value. Maybe $10K for insurance purposes and Please do not try to match the drapes
Today would've been Van's 61st birthday.I met him while we were both students at Visual Arts in NYC.He was the real deal! His art at that early age was so advanced-I was in awe.I dropped out but never forgot my friend who looked like a young Paul McCartney!Thank you for the fun we had.
Happy Birthday in Heaven,Van.

I just purchased a pair of signed Van Eno signed painted chairs. They are beautiful Pollack inspired, spattered painted with removable cushioned upholstery. They came from the estate of a gay psychiatrist who vacationed in Key West. I wonder if Eno painted much furniture? For insurance purposes, any idea of the value of two signed deco club chairs?
Thanks.
Thanks.
